Markup
A caret means HTML; a box means a slide. Close the two angle brackets and the mark becomes the thing it stands for: a file resolving into a presentation.

The two brackets are two halves of one frame. Turn them onto the diagonal, slide each 8.355 units along its own axis, and the arms overrun by half a stroke so the corners miter shut: ⟨⟩ closes into a square. The mark is not a picture of the product. It is the proposition itself: source resolving into a slide.
Everything downstream falls out of that. The loader is not a spinner; it is the mark performing the product: caret, spaced box, sealed square, quarter turn, and open again. The caret itself is drafted, not drawn. Both arms sit at exactly 45°, the stroke is 12.6 per 100 of mark height, the inner tips are 16.71 apart, and every vertex lands on a grid intersection, so it can be rebuilt from the coordinates at any scale instead of traced from artwork.
The guidelines ship as one self-contained page carrying a normative JSON spec, so the numbers a developer or an agent needs are the same numbers the page draws itself from.
